Frederick Finnup (Older), Frederick Finnup (Younger) & George Finnup visit the memorial dedicated to the 9th Ohio Infantry. Frederick Finnup served in this Infantry during the Civil War.

Frederick Finnup came to Garden City on April 14, 1879 and was open for business on May 22, 1879, selling furniture and general merchandise. The location was the 200 block of Main Street on the west side.
